| Welcome to the Town of Nokomis website! We hope this website will serve as a way for our residents to keep informed of meetings and activities in Nokomis as well as a place to download forms for various permits. You may also contact any of the Town Board members through this website. |
| The Town Hall and offices are located at 2541 Lake Nokomis Road. Hours of the Town Clerk are currently Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 7:00pm and the second and last Saturdays of the month from 8:00am to 12:00pm (excluding holidays). The Town Clerk Wendy Smith may be contacted at any time to arrange for an appointment outside of those hours. |
The Town Board meets the second Monday of every month. A complete recording of town board meetings are available for residents to review in the clerk's office. Notice of meetings and agendas are posted at Schaefer’s Wharf, The Landing, and at the Town Hall.

Veterans Memorial Ceremony |
| A Veterans memorial ceremony will take place Saturday, May 25, 2013, 9:30am, at the Prairie Rapids Cemetery. All veterans and the public are encouraged to attend. |

County L Clean-Up Day! |
| Saturday, June 1, 2013 Volunteers needed! Meet at the Nokomis Town Hall at 9:00am to help pick up litter and trash from County Highway L with the Nokomis Ladybugs! For further information or questions, please call Beth Lekfield at 453-1381. |

| Lawnmower races will once again be held at the Nokomis Community Park this summer. Come out for this fun and exciting sport!

Brush Site - OPENS APRIL 27 |
| Brush site 2013 permits are available outside of the east Town Hall door or from the attendant on April 27th when the site opens.

| Nokomis residents will once again be able to use the Little Rice recycling center for nominal fees. Fees and dates are on the back of your Nokomis permit. Both sites will require all residents to have a permit. |

Food Pantry |
| Bette Stillman runs and maintains the Nokomis Food Pantry, which is located at the Town Hall in the old firehouse. The pantry distributes groceries and some sundries to those in need. Folks who find themselves in a tight spot and in need of a little assistance are encouraged to contact Bette and take advantage of this service. No personal financial information is required or kept; you need only contact Bette at 453-2415 or 612-2947 and she will make arrangements to meet you at the Town Hall. |

Senior Dining |
| Senior Dining meals are served at the Nokomis Town Hall every Monday and Wednesday. Meals are provided by the Oneida County Department on Aging and are brought to the Town Hall. The suggested donation is $3.00 for those 60 and over; $5.00 for those under the age of 60. All ages are welcome. Lunch is served at noon. Call 490-1710 to make a reservation. Home delivery to those unable to physically make it to Town Hall can be provided. To see if you qualify for home delivery, please call Mary Boyer, Oneida County Nutrition Coordinator, at 369-6170. Menus are posted weekly in the Tomahawk Leader.
